In development, pre-orders open
hike.video keeps every photo, clip, voice note and GPS track from a trek in one place, and turns it into a short film of the day you actually had.

One trek. Every photo, clip, note and metre of it, in one place.
The problem
It gets lost slowly, across four apps that don’t know about each other.
That evening
You come home with 240 photos, a few clips, a voice note you recorded at the summit, and a GPS track sitting in your watch app.
That week
You post three photos. The other 237 go quiet in the camera roll, somewhere between a receipt screenshot and someone’s dog.
Six months later
Someone asks about that trek. You open Photos and scroll. You remember there was a voice note, but not which app. The GPS is behind a login you’ve forgotten.
So you give up
You show them the same three photos you posted. The rest of the day is technically still on your phone, and practically gone.
What hike.video does
Nothing new to carry, and nothing new to remember to do.
Photos, clips, voice notes and your GPS track, pulled together and grouped into the trek they belong to.
Your route and your moments become a short cut with real pacing and sound. No editing, no timeline, no software to learn.
Open the hike and the whole day is still there: the film, the track, every photo and every note you left yourself.
Founding pre-order
A limited founding round while it’s being built, so the people it’s for get a say in what it becomes.
$79 for your first year
Planned price after launch: $200/year. Founders keep $79 for as long as they stay subscribed.

Where this actually is
I’m one person building this, and I’d rather tell you exactly where it stands than dress it up.
The films are real. I’ve been making them for hikers with my own software, and they work. The app around them is still being built: the part that gathers your photos, clips, notes and track into one hike, without you filing anything.
Pre-ordering now is a bet on that, at the price it’ll never be again. If the bet stops looking good to you, ask for your money back before launch and you’ll get it, no questions.
And you shouldn’t send money to an anonymous website. Here’s who I am.
Questions
No. It’s in development and pre-orders are open now. You’ll be in the first group let in when it ships.
I’m not going to give you a date I can’t hold. What I will do is email you with real progress as it’s built, and your refund stays open the entire time, right up until the day you get access.
You get your $79 back in full. The refund is open until the day it launches, for any reason, including changing your mind.
Your first full year, with unlimited hikes. The year starts when you get access, not when you pay, so a delay costs you nothing.
No. Keep shooting the way you already do. The point is that the sorting happens afterwards, without you doing it.
Nobody but you, unless you share them. Nothing is posted anywhere on your behalf, and nothing is used as an example without your written permission.
