Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026

These terms apply when you order a video edit from hike.video. Ordering means you accept them.

What we provide

We produce a cinematic edit, typically 60–90 seconds, from the clips, photos and GPS track you send us. Your first hike is $19; subsequent hikes are $39 each. Delivery is within 48 hours of receiving your complete footage.

What we need from you

Your files, sent through the form we provide after checkout. The 48-hour clock starts when your upload is complete, not when you pay. If your files are unusable or missing, we'll tell you and the clock pauses until we have what we need.

Payment and refunds

Payment is taken up front through our payment processor. If you're not happy with your edit, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked.

Your content and ownership

You keep ownership of everything you send us, and you own the finished edit. You confirm that you have the right to send us the footage, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

You grant us a limited licence to store and process your files for the sole purpose of producing your edit. We will not publish or promote your footage or your edit without your written permission.

Acceptable use

Don't send us content that is unlawful, or that you don't have the right to use. We may decline an order and refund you if we can't work with the material.

Revisions

One round of revision notes is included with every edit. Tell us what to change within 7 days of delivery.

Availability

This is a small operation. If we can't meet the 48-hour turnaround for any reason, we'll tell you promptly and you can choose to wait or take a full refund.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to what you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Keep your own copies of your original footage. We are not a backup service and are not responsible for the loss of material you don't hold elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you placed your order.
